Hey, gang!Beth has been working on forms that allow you to easily post and edit content on CLS division websites. The particular focus here is for the MCS website. The forms can be found at https://www.cls.anl.gov/adminforms/ and you login using your MCS workstation username and password. If this doesn’t work for you, let Beth know at [email protected] and we’ll get you set up.Depending on your administrative role, these forms give you the possibility to edit your personal profile, post research projects, papers/publications, announcements, new releases/articles, “in the news” items, and upcoming events to the websites for CLS, MCS, and ALCF.Most of you have been given the role as a web user. This role allows you to input and edit the items that you own (any item you create using the *Input* forms). However, these items will not be posted on the website until a site administrator has approved the entry. The forms should be fairly self-explanatory and there are some hints to help you determine how to format the data in the field and the type of data to be entered in each field. Please begin using the forms by editing your profile. You can upload a photo of yourself if you’d like and update your research goals. Changes made to your profile show up in the MCS People list and the resultant page when your name is clicked. These forms are continually being improved, we are interested in your constructive criticism to help us make it easier for everyone to use. If you have ideas that you think would be useful for a group of people or for everyone, please write those ideas in an email and send it to [email protected].A help guide can be found at http://wiki.mcs.anl.gov/IT/index.php/CLSWeb.If you have any questions about using the forms, please do not hesitate to contact Beth. She is happy to answer your questions. Thanks!
