Emergency Mailing List Downtime tomorrow (Friday, June 1, 2:00 PM – 2:30 PM)

Emergency maintenance will be performed tomorrow afternoon June 1st, 2012 between 2pm and 2:30pm central time on the server that hosts the following services:

All MCS / ALCF / CELS hosted mailing lists
status.alcf.anl.gov
dust.mcs.anl.gov (ALCF web staging)
collab.mcs.anl.gov (confluence)

During this time period these services will be unavailable. Mail to mailing lists will be queued for delivery when the services restart. Apologies for the short notice on this. This will address the problems we saw last week (and last weekend) and with any luck will result in the system not crashing on us this weekend, and thus allowing us to enjoy the weekend as intended. 🙂
