Videoconferencing at Argonne

The lab is looking into what it’s going to do for a conferencing solution going forward. We currently use Adobe Connect (which is up for renewal at end of the fiscal year) as well as ReadyTalk (which is going away at the end of the FY). If you have any thoughts on what you do and don’t want in a videoconferencing solution, please pass those thoughts on to me. I’m part of a working group to help decide what the lab should pursue and want to make sure I have a good grasp of what you feel is working well and what is lacking.
Think about what features are important to you. Is video important? Phone links/audio bridge? Recording capability? One to one vs. seminar style? Screen sharing/control? Something I’m not thinking of?
Also, do you have tools that you think are especially worth considering?
