Newsletter mailing list

Hi, everybody!
We’ve got a bundle of announcements coming in the next few weeks, and I want to try to keep this systems-announce list low traffic, reserved for important announcements that affect all of our users such as downtimes and other critical information.
We already have a blog and twitter (linked at the bottom of this message), but for those of you who like to get these things in e-mail, we’ve set up a new mailing list: [email protected]. You can subscribe to it by sending a message to [email protected] or you can visit https://lists.cels.anl.gov/mailman/listinfo/dispatches, whichever you prefer.
It’s entirely voluntary, and it will be used for more informational posts. Everything that gets posted to our blog will also get sent to that list.
Just trying to keep the traffic on this list a bit lower, since employees and affiliates in CELS are automatically added to this list whether they like it or not. Next week I’ll be making some announcements on new services, upcoming changes, and other information that’s not super critical, but good to know.
