xigtlab.cels.anl.gov upgrade failed, need to roll back

This afternoon we became aware of a problem with xgitlab.cels.anl.gov where some repositories were missing their files. After extensive digging and troubleshooting, we’ve determined the best course of action is to roll back to the state of things prior to the upgrade. If you made any commits or changes after Saturday’s maintenance, you will need to redo these changes. If you are unsure of what changes happened in your repositories, please let us know at [email protected] and we’ll work on the upgraded site to get you the information you need.

We’re really sorry about this, we’re still trying to diagnose what caused this error. At the moment, it looks like the upgrade to gitlab.cels.anl.gov was not affected by this issue, and thus won’t be rolled back.

When we’ve determined the cause of the issue, and tested the upgrade process again, we will schedule another upgrade window for xgitlab.cels.anl.gov.

Again, any changed made to any project or repository on xgitlab.cels.anl.gov since Saturday will not be reflected on https://xgitlab.cels.anl.gov and will need to be redone. Please report any issues with the service to [email protected].
