Virtual Help Desk

The Systems Group provides Help Desk services for supported divisions.  These services include:

  • Password assistance for CELS users, including password resets.
  • Provisioning access to resources such as the Argonne VPN.
  • Maintaining a limited pool of loaner equipment including laptops, projectors, printers, wireless modems.
  • Deploying desktops and laptops.
  • Collecting and Preparing equipment for Excess.

These services are provided via a number of avenues:

Some desktop support issues are handled remotely, while others are handled by in-person visits to the desk where required.
